Dental Sedation: Relax and Smile with Confidence at Blessed Dental

At Blessed Dental, we are committed to providing exceptional dental care that caters to every patient's unique needs, including anxiety and dental phobia. We understand….you are scared. And, that’s OK. We got your back!  Our experienced team and certified doctors are dedicated to making your dental experience stress-free and enjoyable, ensuring that you leave our office with a bright and confident smile.

Dental sedation is a safe and effective approach that helps you relax and feel at ease during dental procedures. Whether you experience dental phobia, have a sensitive gag reflex, or just need extensive dental work, our sedation options are tailored to suit you.

Our Sedation Techniques/Your sedation options

1. Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is a gentle sedative that is inhaled through a comfortable mask placed over your nose. This mild sedation induces a sense of calm and relaxation, helping you feel at ease throughout your treatment. The effects wear off quickly, allowing you to return to your regular activities after your visit. You will be awake, but relaxed, similar to a couple of drinks just before your treatment.

2. Oral Sedation: If you prefer a deeper level of sedation, we offer oral sedation. Your dentist will administer a sedative medication in the office. You will be responsive, but more sedated than with nitrous oxide.  You will need a responsible adult to drive you home and you should not eat or drink for 6 hours before this appointment. Many patients love that they have a limited recollection of the appointment.

3. IV Sedation: For an even deeper sedation, IV sedation may be indicated. This is often used for wisdom tooth removal. You will need a responsible adult to drive you home and you should not eat or drink for 6 hours before this appointment. Many patients love that they have a limited recollection of the appointment.
